This is the support page for the Damn You Auto Correct app.

If you’ve experienced problems or issues with the app, please complete these steps – and the app should start working for you.

Please complete the steps in order just to be safe, even if you’ve already tried doing them before.  If things start working after completing a step then you should be good to go, and you can forget about any following steps.

1.  If the app is already open, be sure to completely exit it.  If you have iOS version 4, you’ll also have to double click the home button and close the app if it’s in the multi-task list.  Hold your finger on the icon for a couple of seconds and then tap the black ‘x’ button to close it.  Load the app, go to the Posts tab, then wait for the the image to load.  Press the refresh button in the top right corner.  The app should try to load the newest posts that is already saved on your device.  Wait 5 seconds, then press it again.  It should try to load the newest post that’s available on the website.  If refreshing doesn’t work:

2.  Delete the app from your device by holding your finger on its icon for a couple of seconds and then pressing the black ‘x’ button.  Confirm the delete by tapping ‘Delete.’  Connect your device to your computer, open up iTunes, select your device, go to ‘Apps,’  make sure Damn You Auto Correct is NOT selected and then sync your device.  After it’s done syncing, go back to ‘Apps’ and this time make sure you DO select Damn You Auto Correct and then click ‘Apply’ or ‘Sync’ again to reinstall the app.  Load the app and it should be working properly.
