Hey everybody! We’re excited to announce the Damn You Autocorrect book will be out on March 22. That’s just six days away! To celebrate – and to say thank you to the readers for making DYAC so much fun to read – we’re giving away 5 copies of the book.
To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. You can say why you want the book, share your favorite autocorrect incident (my personal favorite is on page 196 of the book), or just say hello. We will then pick 5 winners at random. That’s it!
About the book: Damn You, Autocorrect is filled with 300 hilarious and embarrassing autocorrects, most of which are brand new and exclusive to the book. They’re broken down into categories (work, relationships, parents, etc) so they’re easy to navigate and fun to read. Whether you love technology, texting humor, or taking just a little bit of pleasure in the misfortune of others, Damn You, Autocorrect will leave you laughing until you cry, and thankful that nothing this embarrassing has happened to you. Yet.
If you don’t win the giveaway, head on over to your favorite bookstore next Tuesday and pick up a copy! Or, click here for some great online buying options!
PLEASE NOTE: This giveaway is limited to residents in the USA and Canada. We will be doing a separate giveaway for our friends in the UK/Australia in a few months, when the international version of the book comes out.
Fine Print: Be sure to include a valid email address. One entry per person. The contest will close on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at 9 AM EST. The winners will be drawn at random and will be contacted by email. The contest is limited to legal residents of the United States and Canada. Void where prohibited by law. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. Winner will be determined by 5 random drawings of all valid entries. Winner will be notified by email within three days of the drawing. Only one entry per person is allowed, multiple entries may lead to disqualification.
