My friend is recovering from surgery. She has many friends helping her and caring for her. She worriedly confided that one of the guys also asked her out to the movies, and should she be concerned. My response was to tell her she had every right to say “no thanks.” Then I texted:
“Seriously, people often confuse coming for a friend with falling in love. Kindest quickest cure is to right upfront in firm “no-ness.”

Autocorrect changed CARING to COMING.
