Specifically, if the last word is not in the dictionary, it will “correct” it when you hit send without giving you a chance to change it back. I’m sure there’s some way to avoid this, but based on this site, it obviously catches alot of people by surprise.
I have an iPhone. I check and double check everything, some errors slip through the cracks. Nonetheless, they are almost always amusing, the entire point of this site is hilarity, which you do not get.
I agree with Matt. Check your message before sending it. I often wonder how many people actually make the typographical errors intentionally for the sole purpose of having them submitted to this site.
I absoloutely love this!! My faves are always the ones where the fail is repeated over and over again because the sender can’t check what the screen says before sending it.
Oh my gpdparent *laughs* can’t breathe!!
If people doulble checked we wouldn’t have these to laugh at. And if Sesame Street had characters like “cockmonster” and maybe “Whorie Dawn” I might have watched longer. LOL
Um, yeah. I’m not buying most of these anymore. First of all, how stupid do we have to be to believe that 95 percent of autocorrects will correct to something vulgar. And secondly, autocorrect is designed to make its corrections based on a more potentially correct word composed of “neighboring keys.” Not something beginning with the same letter and rhyming a little bit.

the “oh my godparent” is good too xD
I wonder exactly why this person typed “cockmonster” so freaking much…
I think you’re missing the concept of this site.
Oh, I get it perfectly well
But I’m still allowed to be confused from time to time
You would THINK after the first mistake they’d look twice before sending it again.
With some phones it doesn’t autocorrect until after you hit the send button.

hahaha I can tell your phone doesn’t have this kind of Autocorrect! Lots of phones, it only autocorrects after sending
If you punctuate the end of the text you’ll see the change before it sends. And you can get a period easy if you just hit space twice.
Cockmonster that must be the XXX rated Sesame Street character
An alternative lifestyle
Cookies are a sometimes treat – Cocks….well…..
a threat?
Haha! I’m suprised that Elmo wasn’t changes to Emo.
Well dear Bob Smith, some people are smart enough to turn off their Autocorrect’s. Some people, however; love the attention.

And some people find autocorrect to be useful. I have been using it for quite a while but I have only had one or two autocorrect accidents.
C is for what now?
C is for coochie.. OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!

This made me laugh harder than the original post did…
Even Avenue Q doesn’t have that, despite a similar character singing “The Internet Is for Porn.”
Another alternative: Nookie Monster. Arrumrumrumnumnumf…

You should get the cough looked at.

This is just a wonderful string of fail.
I think cockmonster was friends with snufflelingus.

Oh dear god, what showm were YOU watching??
Gosh, that’s fun!
TONYQ:
Some people are smart enough to know that the plural of “Autocorrect” should not have an apostrophe.
Cheers!
Also, please watch your random use of semi-colons. Honestly, I would not have called you out if your tone had not been so high-and-mighty.
Some people are smart enough to know how to reply within the appropriate thread.
I was going to say the same thing.
Who else remembers the infamous “Letter H” episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”? This totally reminded me of it!

I’m gonna start using “Oh my godparent”.
“Me sneak into your house,
leave before dawn,
your daughters will be pregnant
and your cookies will be gone!”
Hahahahaha!
