Actually, My phone has an option that you can add words to it’s word suggestion list. For those infrequent words that usually get Auto-corrected. Sometimes if I type to fast it will insert shit instead of shirt.

I don’t know about the iphone, but on my droid, every time i use a word it doesn’t know it adds it to the dictionary. I’ve definitely said terrible things like this before.

Well actually, if you use a word multiple times, whether you like it or not your iPhone adds it to the dictionary. Also, if you misspell words accidentally, your phone can correct it to a word [that's what autocorrect is FOR] that’s not the one you’re looking for. Either way these are still freaking hilarious.
Not true… if the word has been used before, especially if it’s been used a lot, it will be inserted.
Auto correct learns from your wording. If you use derogatory words then it might auto correct that if you get really close. It once auto corrected “teh” because I accidently say that a lot. So if someone says shit then it will eventually correct with shit.

If you use such words by spelling them out a bit at a time to use once, it remembers and will use those words. I have had much embarrassment in emails and on Facebook from my iPod touch.
I used to type n send but not any more. I check all my messages unless am tired then all sorts of shit comes out of my iPod
Get a life, Toad! Check your facts about autocorrect in phones. Words used multiple times get added in the phone’s dictionary. You’re just one of those people trying to take the fun out of everything. You probably had a bad childhood or something for you to be so negative.
ummm…. you must be even more of a retard than the others… they can be real when u use a word not in your phone dictionary and save it it will remember that word and can use it in place of another word my android does it to me all the time i have words like shit fuck etc.. all saved and yes it does pop them in context on me all the time … thus is why this is the greatest thing i have ever seen because i can relate to it and have had some weird things sent to people where they asked what the fuck is wrong with you…
It does correct to it if you specifically add that word to your dictionary. Also there is a possibility that the people just pressed all the right keys for the swear word. Also these autocorrect fails happen all the time. Wtf is so unlikely about that. Also – ground black people ROFL!!!!!!
funny because I know someone who put the word script into her phone and her auto correct changed it to scrotum so that’s not always true! But on a lighter note… these are the funniest things I’ve seen all day!
@ TOAD – That may be true for iPhones…I have no idea but it’s so not true for my android smart phone. Any word that I’ve typed in the past will show in the dictionary on my phone and if you’re swype texting, it’s inevitable that it will use words that you’ve recently texted. But then, that’s not auto-correcting is it?! Still makes for some hilarious reading!

Everyone needs to get over themselves. The site was created to give laughter to those that deign to visit it. The best thing you can do for those that insult the site, or the iPhone, or whatever, is to ignore them. By commenting, you are giving them exactly what they want… attention.
