I think some of these were done on purpose. How can those two words get switched? I’ve seen a few that were iffy.
I thought the same thing until autocorrect turned “GRRRRR” into “FERRETS” in a text I sent today. I’ve seen enough changes with autocorrect in the past few days to realize that more of these are possibly real than I ever imagined.

I have family with iPhones. The Autocorrect feature’s done far worse than change Attic to Anus.
Oh it can happen…once my mom was trying to tell me she bought “steaks” and it kept changing it to “fences”??!! WTHeck….
I don’t even have an iPhone, I have a Blackberry, but if I type “hahahahaha” it corrects it to “Haitians.”
I don’t know what the programmers who put together autocorrect on cell phones are smoking… but I’m not sure I want any. LOL

You have to realize it’s not spellcheck it’s predictive text. It takes what you’re typing and finishes it bases on your phones prediction of what the word is going to be. So it doesn’t have to be anywhere near what you’re trying to type.
