I’m a therapist who needed to cancel the first session with a new client. Through a squinty-eyed migraine haze, I confessed to being “dirty” and “sooty.” Both were supposed to be “sorry.”

although, i ponder... maybe it's worth analysing that you say it's supposedly your phone that is making you unable to say "sorry". either it's a narcistic phone, or you have a hidden personality that alters your texts without you being aware of who did it!
