This was a text to my son’s 12 year old best friend…I was checking in on them.

Texting "WTF" to a 12 year old...classy. Why didn't she call his mom to check on them?

My thoughts exactly.

lol you think kids dont know what WTF means? i feel sorry for the kids you're going to have and subsequently shelter.

Mike Salvato it's not about knowing the meaning. that's just no appropriate language for a child

to be honest it looks like a fake

Jenni Gianna inappropriate language for a 12 year old? lol, I havesome of the most well-behaved cousins who are in the 12-15 year old range, and they all use WTF. Does this mean theyre bad bad people!?

its not about the children using or knowing what wft means. its about an adult using that language in a conversation with a child that is inappropriate
Edoardo Pessi:
i think what she meant was that it's not appropriate for an adult to speak like this to a kid, especially if he's not his (or her's) child. this does not mean that if a kid use wtf he is unpolite or a bad person...
October 31, 2012 at 5:03 pm
Yes. That's what I meant. It's not appropriate for an adult to use that language with someone else's child.

WHAT LANGUAGE? It's 3 letters. Is this really where we are headed as a society? WTF is now a curse word? WTF?!?!
October 31, 2012 at 5:32 pm
thank you Tim. It's not like this parent said "HEY FUCK YOU, YOU DUMB MOTHER FUCKER"
Society is so obsessed with "preservation of youth" that theyre going overboard with their desire to protect them.

Call me old fashioned, but if I'm going to check up on my kid, I'll call him or his friend's parent first.

It's also weird that the WTF is in the same line as the autocorrect, meaning she could have backspaced and corrected it before she hit send.
Chris Murphy:

Honestly, the whole thing seems fake to me. Wtf in the same message as the autocorrect? There's no reason to say wtf in that statement. Why is the "kid" responding with "Oh yeah" to Naked Mom? Does he regularly converse with someone known as 'naked mom'?
Di Paris:

Naked mom... Hummm. She should have been honest. Every time I answer the phone I always mention that I'm dressed. Really.

Fake considering WTF is on the same autocorrect message- boring

Yeah, don't text with your 12 year old's best friend, cougartown. Text with your 12-year-old.
