Now THAT is a great way to put out the fire.

Okay, that was just awesome, adding shock factor to a news program, best thing ever.

reading the closed-captions on a live, unscripted broadcast can be pretty funny sometimes.

I'm just happy to see less complaining about the new layout! Who's with me?
P.S. Stop ejaculating in the middle of the road. WON'T SOMEBODY THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!

this was not a recent newscast from the Waldo Canyon fire. this has been out for over a year.

A lot of time, closed captions are fed from the anchor's TelePrompTer. Producers sometimes put these kinds of things in there as jokes because they're ignorant of the fact that their pranks can be seen by the public. Many an FCC fine has been handed out this way.

It's a typo. I do this for a living and the poor captioner was obviously writing evacuating.

Oh my God my throat hurts from laughing so much, THANK YOU DYAC! I don't care about the layout, just give us more! :D
Totally new meaning of circle jerk.

This is old. It's from a fire in Malibu sometime around 2007. It was on Snopes, but apparently somebody thought it was pornography and it got taken down.
