You don't have to like it. I never said I even liked it but it's not so bad that I'm going to spend all my time whingeing about it. If they change it back, great. If not, I'll get used to it. No big deal.

My connection IS slow, even though it's called DSL - so I'm no longer reading more than the first page of this site. You can tell the DYAC people to stop complaining, if that bothers them.

What if we have actual, legitimate complaints, like the fact that this website is now a major data drain? Not all of us can afford expensive data plans. A site about smartphones should be smartphone friendly, no? That's the way I see it, anyway.

Oop, found another complaint. This comment system is ridiculously sluggish. Took me forever to type these comments because of the lag. I tried deleting a sentence and it just wouldn't let me delete. I had to hit the Done button on my iPhone then go back into the comment box several times to get it to work.

You know what I dislike most of all about this new layout? There's no way to go back a certain number of pages. Or all the way back to the earliest DYACs. NONE. It used to be that if I hadn't been here a while, I could change the page number in the URL bar and bounce backwards until I found one I recognized, and then read forwards from there. Now I can't do that.
Sure, I can look at the "Best of" DYACs for each month, but you know what? Sometimes the ones I liked best of all that month aren't on the list. So now unless I feel like loading five-freaking-thousand pages in the process, there's NO WAY to pick out what *I* want to read. That's why this new layout is total garbage. I hate sites that force-feed you stuff and don't let you maneuver around in your own way. This site used to be awesome, but I'm dropping it from my viewing "rounds" because it's just stupid now.
The real shame is that about a year ago, this site got me through a REALLY bad period of time, and I thought my gratitude would never run out. I sure was wrong about that!

It is a first world problem, but still a problem. The problem in case being that the creators think they need to tell people how to navigate. In this day and age we're all very much proficient in navigating websites, so the approach is silly to say the least. Having said that, the new layout sucks.

I used to really enjoy reading the comments ABOUT THE IMAGES, but now it's all 'hate the new layout' stuff. We may not like it, but they webmaster is aware of it, so why don't people try to accept it and just comment on the hilarity of the autocorrect?!

Actually you don't have to read the comments. I'm reading them because I find all the people complaining to be pretty damn funny. 'roll over a just accept everything'? Uh...it's THEIR site, they'll do what they want with it. If all these people hate the new layout so much...then stop coming to the site! LOL All these people are complaining and complaining and yet they're still coming to the site. The admins aren't going to change it just because you're complaining if you're still coming to the site.

The main reason this layout sucks for me is it is all about the "Best of..." which is all personal opinion and i never bothered with the "Best of"s because of that, and i still wont bother with them now. i used to read them in droves, but now i only other with what pops up on my facebook wall because i dont feel like bothering with the "best of"s

I used to read the comments section because the comments there were almost always even funnier than the Autocorrect itself. Now, it's just complaints complaints and more complaints.
I don't really give a damn about the new format, mostly because I always read the DYACs through the "random" tab or through their facebook posts. 'Course, the random tab is missing now, and I completely understand why some of the people here (who use smartphones) aren't happy with the new format at all. But Bloody Elves, stop making such a fuss about it, phoenix!
Of course, if you actually agree with me, never minge this post.
