No, I remember who Snarf is. That doesn’t make it very funny.
What is “Snarfed”? Is it like a snort and a barf?….
Merriam-Webster suggests it to be a portmanteau of “snack” and “scarf.” It means to eat fast.
Though context clues seem to suggest that the sender of that particular text was using “snarfed” to indicate some sort of laughter. Maybe they thought they were making up a word – I thought it was made up, anyway.
Some things should never be rushed.

Snarfing is when you are drinking something, you laugh, and the liquid comes out of your nose (and sometimes mouth at the same time). I don’t know why, but that’s what it is.
